SV	Want de brieven (zeggen zij) zijn wel gewichtig en krachtig; maar de tegenwoordigheid des lichaams is zwak, en de rede is verachtelijk.

Alex	οτι αι επιστολαι μεν φησιν βαρειαι και ισχυραι η δε παρουσια του σωματος ασθενης και ο λογος εξουθενημενος
ASV	For, His letters, they say, are weighty and strong; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech of no account.
BE	For his letters, they say, have weight and are strong; but in body he is feeble, and his way of talking has little force.

Darby	because his letters, he says, [are] weighty and strong, but his presence in the body weak, and his speech naught.
ELB05	Denn die Briefe, sagt man, sind gewichtig und kräftig, aber die Gegenwart des Leibes ist schwach und die Rede verächtlich.
